It was stated that Christian was not there on behalf of Warner Bros. Studios. He was there representing himself, and he simply wanted to thank the officers and medical staff for a great job they had done during this entire time. He also did not give a fair amount of warning that he would be visiting. I may be biased due to the fact that he’s one of my favorite actors, but I have so much respect for this man. He showed how humble he really is and I really like that about him. This is truly a beautiful gesture, and it shows that he’s not just some other actor in Hollywood. He is simply a decent human being.  In the words of Christopher Nolan’s Batman, “It’s not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.” And that’s a real life hero!
